The Scone Horse Festival has claimed responsibility for the manure and horse shoes that were discovered on Scone streets earlier this week.
Reflecting on the last 10 days of the 2018 Scone Horse Festival, David Gatwood and the Scone Horse Festival Committee have been a powerhouse.
A big thanks to the Scone community for supporting Dolly’s Dream and raising a massive $3,148.35 via gold coin donations at the Guy McLean Show on Saturday afternoon.
The 2018 Scone Horse Festival Award winners were announced at the Gala Opening Night held at the spectacular Scone Race Club on Friday night.

For the first time, we will be recognising the outstanding achievements of a horse from the Upper Hunter Shire.
The VIP for each Scone Horse Festival is chosen because of their outstanding contributions to horses in the Upper Hunter Shire and this award has been presented each year since 1985.
The Young Achiever is a person between the ages of 16 and 21 who has excelled in their chosen horse sporting field. Previous recipients have been involved in rodeo, pony club, polocrosse etc.
