In a show of confidence for the Scone Horse Festival and the Upper Hunter Region, the festival has secured its first-ever naming rights sponsor in its 44-year history in Warburton Estate Agents, the region’s leading real estate agency.
Having previously supported the festival as a Platinum Sponsor, this special new relationship will see Warburton’s involvement by name for the next three years, until 2026.
President of the Scone Horse Festival, Andrew Cooper said, “We are really thrilled to announce Warburton Estate Agents as our first-ever naming rights sponsor.”
“They were fantastic sponsors for 2023, so involved in the festival and so community focused. To have them on board again, and for three years, is very encouraging. We really look forward to preparing for the festival in 2024,” Andrew said.
2024’s festival marks an important milestone in the town’s history. After many months of renovation of the town’s main street, the festival will showcase these recent developments in sparkling form, highlighting the new look and feel, and bolstering the feeling of renewal within the Scone community.
As Principal of Warburton Agents Scone, Sarah Lorden, explains “The revitalisation of Scone’s main street has been challenging for many, and the Scone Horse Festival of 2024 marks a special occasion where we can come together and celebrate what we hope to be a positive change, promoting the special Scone spirit.”
After almost five decades of operation, and with offices in Scone and Muswellbrook, Warburton Estate Agents are the premier real estate agency in the Upper Hunter Region.
“It’s important that we give back to this community. Our team want to show our appreciation and support to the community as a whole,” says Lorden.
The Scone Horse Festival has become synonymous with the town, a community-focused jewel in its events crown. A celebration held over 10 days, the festival brings the community together with a myriad of equine events and entertainment.
“We are proud to confirm our long-term partnership with the Scone Horse Festival, a real celebration of the horse and its affinity with our region. For over four decades, this festival has paid tribute to the many horse breeds and the dedicated people who love and nurture them. As we join the Scone Horse Festival committee, we look forward to securing the festival’s future together and continuing to unite horse enthusiasts from far and wide ” explained Lorden.
This major announcement reinforces the buoyancy in the Scone district and its positive and exciting future.
“This sponsorship by Warburton Estate Agents really demonstrates their commitment to the future of Scone – and the future of Scone Horse Festival for years to come. Whilst it has been tough for businesses with the street changes during the revitalisation process, we hope the growth of the Festival thanks to this significant sponsorship, will bring back positivity and strong economic impact to Scone,” says Cooper.
