About Scone Horse Festival
The historic town of Scone is well known as the ‘Horse Capital of Australia’ and 2020 marks 40 years for the Scone Horse Festival! The festival pays homage to all breeds of horses, including Thoroughbreds, Australian Stock horses and draught horses, as well as the men and women who breed and work with them.
The Scone Horse Festival is a unique spectacle, showcasing the versatility of the horse and is sure to provide everyone with an opportunity to experience something completely different.
It is a celebration of the role the horse has played in the development of this beautiful area. This year, the Committee is excited to also host a music concert to officially open the 40th year celebration. Aussie icon Shannon Noll and legendary band Dragon, will perform at White Park arena on Thursday 7th May 2020 from 6pm – tickets are on sale now.
