A big thanks to the Scone community for supporting Dolly’s Dream and raising a massive $3,148.35 via gold coin donations at the Guy McLean Show on Saturday afternoon.
Thanks also to Guy, Emily, Dreaming of Abbey, Teddie, Kidie and Renae for raising awareness of this wonderful and very important cause.
Dolly’s Dream was established by family and friends of Amy ‘Dolly’ Everett. Dolly was the victim of bullying and ended her life at just 14 years of age.
In remembrance of Dolly and to create change that will help prevent the lives of other children being lost, Dolly’s Dream will act as a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves and work to create positive change.
The team at Dolly’s Dream are working to: raise awareness about bullying and its devastating effects; provide support to children affected by bullying; and ultimately change cultures and prevent bullying.
