The Scone Horse Festival are delighted to be hosting Shannon Noll and Dragon at White Park Arena for a live music concert to kick off the 40th anniversary of the Scone Horse Festival.
Wanting to make the most out of the new undercover arena, the Scone Horse Festival committee decided it was time to test out this multipurpose asset as a music venue.
The concert will officially open the festival on Thursday 7 May 2020, with Dragon taking to the stage first at 6.00pm, followed by Shannon Noll from around 7:30pm. You can expect to hear all of the classics from both acts, including April Sun in Cuba, Are You Old Enough? Rain, What About Me, Shine, Loud and plenty more.
“We are excited to officially open the 40th anniversary of the Scone Horse Festival with a major music event at White Park arena. This will be a an evening of celebration for all age groups featuring two fabulous artists in Shannon Noll and Dragon”. David Gatwood, Scone Horse Festival President.
This will be a family friendly event however we are excited to be holding an event that will appeal to all age groups. The arena floor will turn into a mosh pit for those that want to get close to the action and for those that just want to have a dance.
In the lead up to the Scone Horse Festival, we will be running a number of competitions with some great prizes on offer. Make sure you follow the Scone Horse Festival Facebook page @sconehorsefestival for updates on upcoming competitions.
